so cute! listen to the song! (acquirable from baidu)

Hi,everyone, I am new here, can anyone give me some info about transfer?

HI, I am an international student. I just got admitted to a Us LAC this year, so I am in the class of 2010. But I only got a half_scholarship, and my family find it rather difficult to pay the rest. And I myself hope to complete my college by myself. So I decided to transfer.

And I’d like to transfer into those Top 60 Universities/LAC for full-aid including tution and board fees.

Am I eligible?
And what kind of requirements are there and are there any restrictions to Intls?

Thanq so much@!

Did any of you hear this incident happened in MIT? Although personally I am not sure whether I should make a big deal of it, I do feel it is necessary to keep all of you guys informed:
Yesterday (Apr. 24), MIT used several drawings showing Japanese slaughtering Chinese people during pre-WWII era as the background of its homepage. It also gave the links to the original posting sites of these drawings, which were presented as course contents by Professor Miyagawa on the MIT Open Course website. In these webpages, Professor Miyagawa posted a number of drawings, which he called ARTS and many of these drawings depict beheading of Chinese civilians and soldiers by Japanese captors during the 1894-1895 Japanese invasion war to China. The texts and drawings humiliate Chinese people by arrogantly glorifying the fascism and atrocity of Japanese army. The link to the webpages is as follows:

http://ocw.mit.edu/ans7870/21f/21f.027j/throwing_off_asia/toa_core_04.html

Sorry the link isn’t working. It seems they’ve already deleted that page.

mit sux, they waitlisted the smartest person in the class of 2006

Libra_sky, i dont think theres anyway of making sure u get full aid, unless u win some outside aid

HAHA wat do you mean “they waitlisted the smartest person in the class of 2006”… please, define smartest. smartest doesnt exist everything is relative. saying they suck is just being bitter. mit doesn’t suck, and their opencourseware is awesome. except the japanese thing. i dont think that was awesome. i was actually thinking of taking a course with that professor! i wanted to learn japanese, since u know, it might come in handy working in asia, but now im not sure.
wow… now i wish i had the pictues so i could go ask him infront of his face what it was all about.

anyhow, i still dont think they suck. i was a frog underneath the well back in highschool, but being here, i really got to know and at the same time realize incredible incredible smart people way more than i had imagined exist

it was a joke, geng0610 (thats his sn here) is my friend and he really wanted to goto mit but got waitlisted so he prob going to caltech

go to mitbbs.com and you will find out ppl there are just going crazy. they (even chinese living in Toronto and London) already bombed MIT’s president’s email and her phone, and of course i don’t believe Prof. Miyagawa still dares to stay in his house. the CSSA in MIT has already arranged a meeting with the Dean of Graduate Office and the professor himself. I think they are organizing a protest too. can’t wait to see what the outcome will be in the end.

wow plz keep us posted… also where can i lend my services ;)

my newfound secret to high grade expectancy and low life expectancy: constant consumption of redbull + cigerette

wow i thought ppl dont smoke anymore

haha. xo. in that case, the high grade expectancy’s not worth it…is it

one more week of classes! yay…then finals :(

does anyone else find it so much harder to do work these days? it’s soo nice…too nice outside

wow,i’m still amazed about how disillusioned the japanese are.
i’ve seen so much of this crap i can’t even say i’m really angry anymore.they’re always going to be doing it.it’s ingrained in their culture and education, the glorification of japanese fascism.most of the time it’s kept under control but sometimes it peaks through, and that sets our fiery chinese temper on fire and the argument will last for a few months and die down until something new come along.the japanese and chinese are always going to have problems.like the protestants and catholics, jews and germans, and the americans with almost everyone else.

yy!!!i didn’t know you’re online.well haven’t seen you in a while.how are ya?
yeaaaa,i have absolutely not motivation to work for the finals even though it’s still kinda cold outside.it’s just the summer nearing and me getting sick of school in general.
