thanks for the explanation

The captain guy is a ■■■■■. Us Chinese are good, but we’re not crazy.

anyway, welcome guys

I was just checking out some softwares and came across this software called “mathmatica”. Guess how much is costs. (dont’ google it)

free. coz i got it from my indian friends.

hmm. Congrats. You just saved yourself $1880,

lol mathmatica… its less than a gig… thats how u measure cost

ykm i think the price u said is for professional edition. they have student version which costs much less.

I thought it costs more. yea i would pay to say away from that thing. Rather prefer matlab. can’t help it though, stupid physics labs.

I will just stick to my trusty TI-83.

oh matlab, do I really want to talk about that…
ykm, you’ll have to use that software some day, I mean if you are gonna be a science or engineering major.

no you don’t yuan. it took me like 500 hrs to figure out how to draw a 3-d graph on that thing

My calc class is using a program which is very simple to use, gah, can’t remember the name of it. you only need to type in the equation and you can trace, rotate, zoom the graph. But apprently this school is probably too poor to afford mathmatica or mathlab.

damn, just realized ur still in high school. why should i talk with you about this…
is 3D graphing that bad? i thought it’s all about surf, mesh, plot3, etc. we edit jpg. wav. xls. files using matlab, and i don’t see the point.

ppl learn

lol I m older than most high school seniors, so i should be considered a semi college student

no it’s not that hard. i’m just ■■■■■■■■.

yea yea…in 6 months you’ll be a real college student :)

If i got accepted somewhere…

Calc final on wednesday! woot and i can’t not go the the review secession…

i bet if u dont get accepted, u’ll still be a college student

early final? or semester final? or block schedule?
