hey zhou! you’re at msu? awesome… well… awesome in terms of so many of my old friends go there. i miss east lansing once in a while, even tho i hated michigan cuz it was so dim even while it was sunny; like there just isnt enough colors… or, excitement in the colors there, or lack of variety… or… i dont know… anyways… im hating whoever just worked on this computer cuz they got candy on the s key so everytime i type it its sticky ewwwww f***

btw what’s your major? msu’s best in supply chain management. i almost went there, and if i did, it would’v been for that–the eli business school within msu is pretty good… but if you’re premed, msu kind of isnt so great (sucks to be blunt) even if you’re in the honors program which isnt really that honorable cuz its not as competitive as lets say psu’s schyeuser(wrong spelling) thing

2.5 hrs practice tonight and for the rest of the week. i don’t know y would i sign up for b ball.regrets. and i can’t get a ride tomorrow. so i have to stay at school from 8am-8pm. rofl.

i just watched an episode of “only you” “fei ni bu ke”… it was sad :frowning: when he kicked her out…

okay… now i have to perform a miracle–get an A on the midterm tomorrow in math… a class i have not attended since the last midterm nor done the psets in since ive been copying them. i have faith… i just have 1 more chapter to go… but its a heavy chapter with iterated integrals and fubini theorem and stuff and im getting confused so now i want to procrastinate… im going to test out my new method:
not sleep… learn how to do the problems… then keep doing practise ones all the way up until the test… which i wont even need a thinking transition and ill just keep doing it like i was doing it 10 minutes ago for practice

dude, what station? or is it dvd?

i just discovered one day in english class where we had liberary search tutorial that wellesley media library has a HUGE collection of chinese tv drama… they also have stuff like entire seasons of sex and the city; but that’s also cuz they have a class called “sex, the city, and literature” where they watch sex and the city and write papers on it (im not in that class altho its one that gets filled up incredibly fast)

so i walk up to the media desk, give them the call #, and they’re like… “im not sure if your professor put it on reserve or not, if not you can check it out for a week”… and i was thinking professor? lol but its so awesome
i cant believe they have these kind of stuff… like all three series of “lan se sheng si lian”… and the trite “huan zhu ge ge” and stuff like bu jian bu san, li hun, ai de kai shi… da han tian zi… yah… they have everything. now im really happy. i carry my notebook to the student center, with the dvds, then lock myself in a room… study for 2 hours, watch an episode, study for 2 more hours… etc… and then i sleep in the student center too… on this nice couch next to the fireplace (dont worry… wellesley doesnt have hobos and stuff running around like boston - mit harvard bu - has to worry about)… im kind of liking wellesley… cuz everywhere on campus is home LOL ive slept in the science center in the living room in the library in the student center… i think my roommate loves me cuz i dont sleep in my room

i do have to say,i am a *ing genius. i just got 100/100 on my chem lab exam which i thought i screwed up on.
did i mention that i’m a *ing genius?

van. i told you…geez

and yes. you do have problems

lol. yea. i think i can basically fall asleep anywhere anytime these days.

**** **** **** f***K i just screwed up my math midterm :frowning: :frowning: :frowning: :frowning: im sooo mad so mad so mad so mad so mad so mad! i fcking did not know what a centroid is until i indirectly asked the professor and learned that it was the center of mass or something… and then i sat there staring thinking how in the world am i going to find THAT and i started making the hemisphere into a rectangle and then i guessed and got it wrong…on the study sheet it said centroid, and i thought it was a different word for finding volume of spherical things… im so fcking stupid

hmm. we haven’t done triple intergrals yet. but don’t you just find the moments or something in respect to each axis and divide by the mass? no idea. just a vague impression.
it’s okay. it’s hard to think when you are sleep-deprived. i made the same mistake on my bio test. stayed up the entire night reading and catching up…then couldn’t even think clearly on the test. o well. at least it’s over

HAHA…a lot of **** and what not going around the thread this time of year.FINALS.
i almost froze my nose and ears off outside today.and it’s snowing already.

To yryuan23: Hey, sup. Which college are you hanging out? A public school in Atlanta… Hmm… GIT? You know, I’ve been to GIT before. Like early September. That was right after the Katrina blow. We were evacuated to Jackson, Mississippi. Then Atlanta, Georgia. Quite a trip. GIT sort of accommodated us. Nice. Yep. Atlanta’s a great city. I’ve been there like twice. But been to the airport more than four times. I got in Emory U though. But didn’t have the money to attend cos it cost like +40K. Kinda hard to afford. I don’t know. I’ve been through a lot ever since Katrina. It’s a lesson learned, honestly. Yeah, chicks in MSU are great. A lot of them are. I enjoy sitting in the cafeteria with friends eating while fixing my eyes on some hot, fabulous and bootylicious girls. That’s the ULTIMATE dining experience. lol…

To xokandykyssesox: Hey hey. Nice meeting ya. I haven’t declared my major yet but I’m looking at finance, economics/math. So you think the Eli Broad School of Business at MSU is highly reputated? Looks like you know MSU pretty well. Could you tell me more about the b-school? Are you studying at Wellesley? Wow…

I have to make a decision really soon. I have to decide whether or not I should go back or not. Tulane’s great school, but placed in the wrong place. It’s a premier private school and it’s smaller than a huge state school… But definitely too preppy. It’s like everyone’s walking around wearing A & F. Snobs do tend to appear… Sigh… Oh, I’d like to add you guys to my faceboook. Or you guys can add me. Just search “Junkai Zhou” under Tulane University. Nice meeting ya’ll.

Haha I wish I was in GaTech. Im in Georgia State actually, gonna apply for transferring to Tech next fall. wow you got in Emory? hmmm you must be good. I got waitlisted and finally rejected. hehe. yea the tuition at Emory is very expensive, and they don’t offer scholarship vey generously. I don’t know how those kids can afford it. Oh well… GaTech is also a private school, the tuition is not cheap either. OK forget about that. Let’s talk about something else.
Atlanta is a beautiful place, traffic is bad though. I like the airport, coz being there means I can go back to China! Anyway, next time you are coming down, let me know so we can meet up. About the hot girls, I don’t like watching them in the food court, I like having lunch with them or do whatever. but not date, I can’t afford a gf. :D

sigh…i wish u guys would just either get a girlfriend, or get over the fact that u don’t have one. i mean there’s an extent to which we girls here can take all this weird/disturbing/hungry-sounding remarks on cc forum.
hm,did i sound *****y in that?ok yy,i admit it,i’m not as nice as you are.

and it’s ok xo,i screwed up my last bio exam as i told u guys so.i’m sure you’ll do better.us chinese are born to do math.

Only 28 days to ED decisions!!!

sigh I hate the weather here…it’s sooo warm outside at first that you could just wear a t-shirt…and it’s mid-november already, then the rain started POURING down in the afternoon and it is still raining outside. It makes me so depressed…

Zhou I do hope things are going well for you. It must be hard to go through all the things that happened. I have a friend at Tulane who’s also a sophomore now, but had to go to U of Houston for this year.

I’m glad that I didn’t bring my laptop or check out one from the library when I studied there for the past few days…coz I was able to do my work pretty efficiently…without much distraction. But then I came back and went online…

Good luck to all the EDers

or those who are still marching towards the nov 15th deadline ;)

zhou, wish you the best at transferring etc.

uh…uh… uh…

sigh…life is too busy this semester…

I look into next sememster’s schedulem, it’s highly likely that i’ll have Monday, Wednesday, and Friday completely free.

Where are all the 10ers? come on, let’s have a roster and competition for posting  You know  that we all have inside connections to the admission officers, huh?

oops, the nov 15 deadline has already passed?

i honestly don’t know the date anymore…lol

ONE BIG QUESTION:

who’s going back this winter?

and i uploaded a few photos at: http://pics.recoe.com
