<p>hey… i forgot why people get old and die… is it because their chromosomes get shorter and shorter until they eventually cant divide anymore? </p>
<p>im so happy its friday! im going to chain myself to a chair on saturday so i can study and not have to stay up late. i love how nice the professors here are… i begged and he gave me an xtension on my paper… “beauty is truth; truth beauty”</p>
<p>That’s good for you. I usually can’t really concentrate fully on Saturdays. It’s like the best day ever. You’re done for school on Friday, then you have the whole Saturday to just dawdle. Isn’t that leisure kind of like a luxury? I enjoy my Saturdays. But right now, I have to figure out what I’m gonna do next. A lot of problems and challenges upfront. I’m exhausted. Sigh…</p>
<p>OMG val you watched HP? I’m gonna watch it tomorrow…can’t wait. There are some girls in my English class who took the train down to NYC to watch it at mid-night when it just came out, and they got back to Vassar around 6 am…crazy but it must have been sooo fun. I have the GobletofFire poster on my wall and I’ve been counting days…ahh it’s gonna be so good~~</p>
<p>I’m going to Boston for thanksgiving 
and i’ll stay at MIT with a friend actually…xo where will you be? But then…I have totally no clue as to where I’m gonna go during winter break. Maybe I’ll go to nyc for a few days…and I have to figure out the rest. I don’t wanna stay on campus coz there’s gonna be so few ppl and it’ll be really depressing.</p>
<p>Friday night is the best time…but I always waste my saturday. And on sunday i’d be doing work in the library for 10 hrs and wondering why I didn’t do any the day before…sigh it’s always like that</p>
<p>lol. sweetbee. that’s the story of my life too. friday nights…never any productivity. i’m going to a broomball game tonight…should be fine, if i end up coming back alive, that is.
wow. it’s nice that you guys get an actual thanksgiving break. my ‘break’ is two days…not enough time to do anything…probably not even long enough to finish all the stupid papers/projects/labs due the week after
lol. xo, ppl ‘get old and die’ for many reasons. their immune system sorta die down, and that thing you are talking about…it’s when telomeres shorten each time the chromosomes undergoe a replication, since there’s always a promoter regions that’s not replicated. and yes, when they get too short, they can’t protect the cell against gene loss and ppl can die from it. hope i’m right…it’s pretty vague in the back of my mind. and o, have i mentioned that i feel like i’m losing my brain recently?

<p>sweet bee:it was SOOO fun.but we were really tired cos we came back to the dorm at like 3 something.i was so afraid my friend was gonna fall asleep while driving or something.but yeah,we arrived safely and i had to get up at 740 for class this morning.so basically i had less than 4 hours of sleep and wasn’t really functioning during class.i even took my notes slower which was hilarious.my friend who went with me and i were like laughing at each other’s zombiness the whole time.</p>
<p>i fell asleep when i was watching the first episode of Harry Potter. donno y ppl like it.</p>

<p>That’s what I heard as well. I think people are referring to the Chinatown bus. You can get to NYC from Boston with only 15 bucks or less maybe. Dirt Cheap. I’ll be in New York as well this Thanksgiving, but New York State though, Rochester. I’ll visit my aunt and lil cousin and go through a whole interview process cos I’m applying for U of R. Hope I can transfer there during Spring Semester. Sigh…Getting enough aid can be a problem… Keeping my fingers crossed.</p>
<p>Saw Harry Potter today. So good!!! I think it’s the best HP movie so far…although the ending is really sad. Ahh I wanna see it again!</p>
<p>3 more schools days and then Thanksgiving break! You ppl who are going to NYC or NY state, have fun!! Hmm I love the city but I guess I won’t go there until Christmas.</p>

last night,had my first shot of tequila.yy,you know me,always partying,HAHAHA(sarcastic laugh).then my whole face was red from the neck up.horrible.but since the lights were dim nobody really noticed until i went around saying oh my gosh my face is so red!!!didn’t feel much except for that though.guess what they said is true.ppl who gets red easily from drinking don’t get drunk easily.well i only had one shot though,and didn’t like it that much.it was this weird salt-licking-lime-sucking ceremony.i prefer sweet liquor.ooohhh got stamped on my hands yesterday cos i was under 21 and couldn’t drink at the all campus party.SO EMBARASSING.two huge green crossed on my hands.geez.</p>

<p>i did shots with 151 friday night. that was dumb. i didnt know what i had in my hands until today… i stopped and pondered… and realize… holy! i did shots with 75.5% alcohol! i remember my dad told me when i was like 10 that the highest content stuff was 60%… like those er guo tou/mao tai/xi feng stuff… what a lie… they go up to 200 proofs… there is such thing as pure alcohol and it is drankable… altho i dont think its a good idea and now that i think about i dont know why any1 would want to cuz it would taste like <em>something not tasty</em>. 180 proof sounds… temptatious. maybe next semester or wintersession when i take everything credit non ill see what “really” drunk feels like since i wouldnt have to worry about wasting the next day feeling like <em>something not good</em></p>

<p>lol wow you’re an expert! bacardi 151 proof rum is a brand. it’s got 151 proof, hence 75.5%… except people were just calling it 151 and i didnt know what they meant. i remember my very first shot… i was like 16 at this MSU college party… and we were all in a circle, the girls poured me a shot and a glass of cranberry juice and told me to pour it into the glass and then drink it… but we were suppose to do it together, and i chugged it before they even finished pouring… .so by the time one person was like… ready? they were like… did we not pour her any? and i was all red from both the alcohol and the embarassement… then somebody else was like–she dranked it already!.. </p>
<p>i also heard u can mix bacardi with tabasco sauce LOL to make it burn even more… if u like the pain</p>
<p>i think im crazy… i slept for 2 hours today… not even! from 12:50 - 2:30am… and im not tired right now. yes ive been up since 2:30 studying… and prior to that studying also…
