tangsdaily have already stated that its silver storm.

push me! i need to study! finals! i need motivation! come on! my gpa is at stake here. i am not walking away first semester with anything below 3.8… okay fine 3.7… that’s my last bid… why am i still wasting my time? why do i waste time doing NOTHING… i would understand if i wasted my mine making money… or… being productive otherwise… uh~

omg this thread is soooo long!
Okay, Born in Jilin, China. Moved to Canada when I was five. Moved to Pennsylvania when I was eight. I am now a junior.
Umm… I want to get into Wharton…
And yes, I play the violin, like all the other asians… Hey, question, did any of you get into states?
haha… wouldn’t it be funny if some of your friends were posting here… but you didn’t know it?
hmm

yes, another Whartoner! i can see the future of money showering from the sky.
welcome, venus, hope you find this thread helpful and amusing. i assume you are not a guy like what yy refered, since you hold the name “Venus”.
playing Violin is great. it takes years and years of practice to play a whole piece. i don’t have that kind of perserverance, that’s why i’m … i’ll talk about that another time

are you ED Wharton? good luck. don’t forget to share any good news with us when decision comes out! we will blow some fire crackers to celebrate…

hehe. you are soo cute!
I am definitely skeptical about my acceptance chances, but I’m definitely applying ED. If I don’t get in, the college is great too. Yeah, playing the violin is definitely great. The violin hickeys on my neck… not quite.
Anywhoo… I still have a year before Penn, so do you have any advice to stand out from the monotonous group of nerdy asian aspiring Whartonites? I especially need some awards (mainly English/Business/Speech please)
Okthanks!

gosh xo, i’ve facebooked you! of course i know you aren’t a guy. and no i wasn’t referring to you. i was…arg, nevermind
good luck venus. look into essay/speech competitions maybe? i’m sure there are plenty out there.

i don’t really wanna make any comment on that “weird guy” thing. anyway, if you know more about us, you will know i am the least weird PERSON here.

after a burger and 30 farts, i finally put up an essay slightly over 4pg. i didn’t pass our school’s writing proficiency placement exam, thus i have to take another semester of writing 100 while everyone else is done.

by now, you probably figure out who was the weird guy that yy refered to.
i was the one buried 300 ounce of silver. sorry that yuan took the blame for me once again.

hahahahaha! how modest of you tangsdaily! my new record today: i wrote a 5pager in 2 hours… kill a lotta braincells there… it was due at 1:30, i started around 10:30ish… i almost died around 3:00pm… i went back to my dorm, said to myself ill nap for an hour before class… set the alarm… and said f-it when the alarm went off… skipped polisci class… and then ate dinner… and just got back from 2 hours of yoga (which = death) i had TWO freakin’ papers due… both 5 pages… which isn’t that long but still… i guess its bad time management since i wasted all my time on the first one… and it was like… FC.UK! CRAP!

ooh yoga is the best!
haha, college life sounds stressful! But hey, I’d rather be there than being stressed out in high school ABOUT college… and wondering where I should apply next year… and taking sats…
gaah.
But I’m proud of myself because I spent two straight hours studying! see, this is what a nice asian girl SHOULD be doing… instead of talking online…
hehe

an efficient asian should work and talk online at the same time. you know, you can always ask your friends questions about hw via aim. hehe, just kidding. don’t blame me any more.

lixuelai, it is “ge bi wang er bu sheng tou”
thank you and tang for “chu tou” for me. haha…
