<p>I am thinking about getting a dual degree in chinese and economics. I was wondering if this degree from OSU would be a good spring board into investment banking?</p>
<p>It’s not so much the major that is important for i-banking but rather what school you attend. It would be tremendously easier to land a position if you attend a target school or one where a lot of recruiting goes on (IE: NYU Stern, UMich, UVA, etc), which I’m not sure OSU has.</p>
<p>Sorry…OSU is not a target school. Just network like crazy. It’s not what you know…but who you know.</p>

I will have to network, my finances will not allow me to travel out of state.</p>
<p>I will not be ready for a top tier mba school until my mid to late thirites,would my age hurt me in applying to a top tier school?</p>
