Chiseled?

What does A&Fs “Damn I’m Chiseled” -T-shirt mean? Never heard of the word chiseled before.

Chiseled means like, really buff. It comes from where the stone statues (like David) were chiseled out of stone, and if someone says it, it’s like they were carved out of stone they’re so ripped. Or something. I hope that made sense, I’m sick right now and my brain isn’t working very well today.

got it, thx =)

I wonder if they have that shirt in xxl…

Maybe. I find that AF (at least the one near me) does not sell anything that can be worn by someone that carries any real muscle. Skinny chiseled…

well, chiseled doesnt have to mean huge. It just means someone who’s really cut. For instance, I’m 5’11 160, and I’m more chiseled than my friend who’s 6’1 240. He’s a powerlifter and I’m a fencer, so obviously we train differently, and thus have different body types. And he definitely has more real muscle than I do.

Sorry if this is off topic… but why would anybody get that shirt? I mean if you are really buff you shouldn’t have to say it on your shirt… so I imagine maybe as a joke some fat dude might get it… but then again why?

Maybe I just don’t understand Abercrombie…

^yeah, good point about the shirt.
maybe guys who just aren’t quite as “chiseled” as they’d like to be, and think wearing the shirt will make them seem more so.
I don’t know though…

probably the same reason girls get pants with things like “sexy” written on the butt.

just sayin’
