Hi! Can anyone tell me about Choate lacrosse? Is the team supportive? How is the team atmosphere? Does the coach help get you recruited for college?

Was your child recruited by the coach? If so then it’s a great question for them to ask the coach. If not and lacrosse is important to your child they should contact the coach, share film, etc. to understand what their role would be based on the current roster, incoming recruits, etc. But as you probably know, other than football and hockey to a degree, a lot of college sports recruiting happens with club sports and showcases, so you probably want to ask if and how the school supports training/travel for the club sport. As for team culture if you can go to a game or even watch a livestream that may provide a good sense.
Choate lacrosse is somewhat competitive but not on a par with Deerfield, Brunswick or Lawrenceville. Those schools seem to be the top lacrosse programs among Northeast Prep schools.
Those are top lax schools in the country, never mind the Northeast. Choate has a solid program.
