choate or hotchkiss?

<p>Hotchkiss.
It’s more formal, for one, and they have an official dress code. I don’t think CRH does… Also, Hotchkiss is smaller by 300 students than Choate, and Hotchkiss has sailing. Overall, Hotchkiss, to me, seems to be like Deerfield and Choate seems to be similar to Exeter/Andover.</p>

<p>Definitely a personal choice…it depends on who you are as a person and what you want in a school. I think Choate is more relaxed, not academically but there’s no formal dress code, etc. I would choose Choate, personally.</p>

<p>visit!! they feel very different. HK is in the middle of nowhere, so it’s all about the school facilities and community. Choate has a town you can walk to, and a greater connection with New Haven and NYC. It has more of a big school, less tight community, feel.</p>

First off, Hotchkiss is a smaller, more close-knit ommunity.
Also, Hotchkiss has an awesome golf course, and I love golf.</p>

<p>not to mention at the hotchkiss golf course, you could hit golf balls at the glass windows of the music building</p>
