I created a similar thread earlier…please disregard that. Because now i can buy a better phone,Lol. Anyways which one is better of these two phones?

btw, I’m not a frequent texter, I do like playing games, and music capability isn’t really that important to me.

ugh i hate the verizon phones. i just ordered like 2 days ago… got the vx 8300 just cause its the only thng that got good reviews. its not the sexiest or the slimmest but at least it will do its job well.

if i were u i wouldnt get the env if you don’t text a lot. i guess the chocolate 8550 is nice, but theres a lot to break there. i’d def get the chocolate if those were my choices.

I have the env. The keyboard is quite convienet for textint or even entering contacts or making quick notes plus it has better controls for games. Env all the way.

I bought my en-V in February and I’ve been very happy with it since- I highly recommend it. Incidentally, my mother was with me getting a new phone for herself too, and I suggested she get the Chocolate- the Verizon store worker immediately indicated it was a poor choice, that the phone was for adolescents who didn’t know from a good phone. I don’t mean to insult those who have one, as I haven’t used one myself, but I figure if the Verizon store guy directed us to a cheaper model, knowing we could afford the en-V, he was being honest.

so, enV it is. It seems like all the chocolate is useful for is ‘cool’ look and music. enV also offers the ‘cool’ look and I can care less about the music. Like i mentioned I’m not a frequent texter but do play lot of games and I’m always doing something on phone. And chocolate seems too fragile for that.

if you can, you should wait about a month. verizon is supposed to come out with an answer to the iphone by the end of september. if youre willing to blow some cash, you should wait.
