Choosing between scholarship at Gardner-Webb or going to Chapel Hill?

<p>My two choices:
Gardner Webb with full tuition scholarship
UNC Chapel Hill</p>

<p>I know that UNC is much more prestigious and would probably look better for grad school and job placement, but I love the environment at Gardner Webb and it would be about half the cost.</p>

<p>Help!</p>

<p>Is money a big issue? If it is, and you don’t qualify for financial aid, I would go with Gardner Webb. However, Carolina is quite generous with financial aid, including a no-loan policy, so if you have a low EFC I would choose Carolina over Webb. Carolina is much more renown… but… if you really love Webb, go with your gut. :)</p>

<p>Money isn’t a huge issue, although it would be great to be debt free. I’m mostly worried about the effect of my choice with regards to graduate school and acceptance into a good graduate program.</p>

<p>For graduate school, the strength of the department in your major likely has some effect.</p>
