choosing university

Hello,
I want to know which one is better Temple university or University of Idaho?

I have family members who went to Idaho!

These two schools are in very different locations. Temple is a large urban university right in a major US city. It will be a more cosmopolitan, more diverse experience. It attracts students from a wider range of places. Especially if you have enough money, there will be lots of restaurants, clubs, etc.

Idaho is in a very small and remote town. It’s about a 1.5 hour-drive to Spokane, which is the nearest city with an airport. Washington State University, Idaho’s main sports rival, is across the state line, just a few miles from the University of Idaho. It is a pretty, mountainous area with lots of outdoors opportunities. As a state flagship (main public university), lots of students will be from Idaho, although it does participate in a Western states exchange program, so some other students, especially from western states. It does get a lot of top students from the state. It would be more of a traditional campus-based US college experience.

Because Philadelphia is a large commercial/financial/manufacturing center, Temple would provide more internship/coop opportunities while you are in school. The school has a large alumni network.

Temple is ranked higher generally, and I’d think somewhat more highly regarded in most academic areas, though I don’t think to a significant degree in some areas.

Good luck!
