Christmas Cookies - the new one and the one that gets left behind

I know there are many Christmas cookie threads over the years on CC - surely I have started some of them!
(Wait - is it against the rules if I started the “Maintain, Don’t Gain” thread AND this one??!)

We were discussing the Christmas cookies baking list at home recently. I have a new one or two I’d like to try. Trouble is, no one wants to give up an old one for a new one - and the list DOESN’T need to get longer!

This year, have you tried a new recipe? Are you putting aside an old-one-repeated-too-many-times???

Here’s one new one I did make yesterday - it’s one of two new ones I want to try - they came out well and were delicious! Can be cut quite small so plenty for sharing - Cranberry Bliss Bars:
<a href=“Cranberry Bliss Bars - The Girl Who Ate Everything”>http://www.the-girl-who-ate-everything.com/2011/12/cranberry-bliss-bars.html</a></p>

The one I want to drop this year: Peanut Butter Cookie W/Reeses on Top - come on family, isn’t the PB with Hershey Kiss enough??!!!

LOL, No, you can’t do the " maintain, don’t gain" and talk cookies in the same forum.
H just gave most of his Christmas gift from someone away at the office (scarfed up quickly by staff I may add). Some brownies that were 230 calories a piece. He brought a fraction home for stocking stuffers. And he wasn’t included in that count.
The weight loss we’ve had over the last 5-6 months aren’t getting blown now. It feels WAY too good! Got enough weight blowing dinners coming up to even consider cookies!
