Christmas gift ideas for young men.

Irrelevant but… TIL @skieurope is a male. In my head, he was always female.

@romanigypsyeyes My avatar didn’t give you a clue?

Nope.

Lasma, I just looked at the munchery site. It looks too good to be true with such reasonable prices for Los Angeles. A gift card would be perfect for my graduate school son who is usually too busy to cook but wants to eat healthy. I hope that there is no small print that I am missing!

Thumper:

I always say gourmet food or a gift card to a nice local restaurant. Not too personal, but usually well received.

My son has always used restaurant gift cards, as long as the restaurant is in his locale.

When buying for the s/o, I usually buy at BR, and include the gift receipt.

For many years, I put $$$ in son’s bank account. He sends me a picture of what he bought. This year, a small sculpture and a new bike.

This weekend he told me he was thinking of joining a food delivery service, which has been discussed on CC. I said it sounded terrific, but still involved time in preparation. He said he thought it would be valuable in learning to cook. Blue ??? In future, this would be a good gift for someone wanting to learn to cook.

@lotsofquests Nope, no small print. It’s a wonderful service.

LasMa, I sent my grad school son who is in the midst of a huge stressful project a $50 egift so he can have a few decent meals during his 15 hour days. He seemed pretty happy with the gift. If it works, I will get him another egift for Christmas. I was happy that Los Angeles is one of the cities that has the service. The prices and delivery charges really are reasonable and the meals look great in the online pictures. Thank you for the suggestion.

If you have some extra $$$ you don’t mind to spend on a gift to a young man (or a young woman)… IO HAWK.
