Christmas Idea

thumper - thanks.

Agree, college will come soon enough. For any young person though, a Swiss Army knife, Leatherman, sleeping bag, quality backpack or luggage are good pieces of equipment for the future.

For the biker, a very high quality nightlight might be welcome. There are many that are good enough. The really nice ones are not cheap. Good winter cycling tights? Reflective jacket? Bag for the rack? Go wander a bike store.

I love my ebags weekender bag that someone on here recommended. that would make a great gift for anyone.

Scott’s Travel vest/coat. It was suggested here on CC a while back and I took a chance on it since I travel a lot. Lot’s of styles. Bit on expensive side but often on sale (look for coupon codes).
LOVE it! You can pack your life in it and carry it around with you. Mine has about 20 pockets, zip-off sleeves (man’s version but looks great–just less snug). No bulk even with water bottles etc. packed in. Pockets for phone, kindle, even ipad. It’s my new carry-on. Can get heavy with all the stuff you can carry! Regular sales. Ditched my purse totally on my last trip. Just don’t take it off in plane and let someone sit on it!

Tervis Tumbler?
You can get college ones -or not
