Circled numbers of questions to go back to---d Worried it will affect the grading of answers?

Hi all.

My d took act Saturday. I never took act so I don’t know what she means, but perhaps some of you experienced test takers out there will.

She said on the match section she circled (?) questions that were harder that she would go back to. I am assuming she does not mean circled her test booklet because she said she then went back to those and bubbled in her answer and hoped circling did not affect the scanning/reading of her bubbled answers.

Like I said, I do not really know what she is talking about? Does this make sense to anyone, and if so, could it , mess up the scoring on her math? Or is she worried about nothing?

Pls advise. Tks.

I know what she means, I did it on my ACT today. (School makeup) She (i’m guessing) is talking about circling the number on the answer sheet next to the bubble. I erased mine, but I’m fairly certain it will not affect scoring. I wouldn’t worry about it, but if the math score seems way off, i think there is a way to request a “hand scoring” of the test.

Thank you for reply. I think what you said is what she did. Made her circles on answer sheet. If math score comes back unusually low then will know why. Will ask for that hand score in that case. Tks again!
