<p>true true, just had a fleeting wave of seas pride, ashamed now, i assure you i will diligently go back to my calculus and not meet with even mild sunlight for the next few days ;)</p>

<p>It’s not too often you see an Indian with such a prestigious job in finance. If I’m not mistaken he also serves on the board of Columbia Business School.</p>

<p>Don’t know about B-school, but he is def on the COlumbia University Board of Trustees ;)</p>

<p>It’s probably a matter of time before you see more. You’ll have to wait until more 1st/2nd generation Indian-Americans get older.</p>

<p>Right. It is indeed a big milestone, a very big step forward for Indian/American’s roles in US business.</p>

<p>^ It’s a shame the big step forward is primarily going to involve cleaning up after a catastrophe.</p>

<p>All I have to say about that is that the risk involved in the finance industry is always tremendous. With the instability in our economy it doesn’t come as big of a surprise to me.</p>
