Fascinating idea. Niagra Falls is one of several cities planning to offer student loan repayment assistance in return for a commitment to live in designated “rural opportunity zones”.

“Under Niagara Falls’ plan, graduates who have earned a 2- or 4-year degree in the past two years can apply for up to $3,500 a year (for two years) towards repayment of their student loans.”
Detroit and some areas in rural Kansas are planning to offer this as well.

Would you do it? Sounds like a great oportunity. Wonder if they help with employment opportunities too.
