"Citizenship" Definition

In Looking at a some outside scholarships, I discovered that in addition to the usual judging categories (Grades, EC’s, LOR’s etc)a couple of them list “citizenship”. Any ideas/thoughts on how they would define being a good citizen, and what one could do to show they are a good citizen? Do they want to see an EC such as “Boy Scouts”?

I think they literally mean “citizenship”. Some are only offered to USA Citizens. Otherwise, they probably mean what type of community service to you perform.

“Citizenship”, I think, would be a criterion primarily found in scholarships serving areas with a high percentage of undocumented immigrants. As OperaDad said, yes, they literally mean possession of US citizenship. Cute idea, though :P
