You must verify your citizenship status and please review the Citizenship and Eligible Non-Citizenship Verification form for additional information

and on the form it says
Please follow these steps:
- Update your U.S. citizenship status either in person or by mail with the Social Security Administration Office. [The United States Social Security Administration](http://www.ssa.gov)
- Allow one to two weeks for your citizenship status to be updated with the Social Security Administration.
- Once you receive confirmation from the Social Security Administration that your citizenship status has been updated, visit [Home - FAFSA on the Web-Federal Student Aid](http://www.fafsa.gov) to resubmit your FAFSA. Be sure to delete and re-enter your first name, last name,
