Citizenship Documentation

I’m a US Citizen born in a different country, so most of my colleges required me to send over some forms. I sent them my Certificate of Citizenship, my US passport, and my birth certificate. However, my first name, the name that I use for everything, does not match up with the name on my Certificate of Citizenship and my US passport. It matches the first name on my birth certificate.

For example, if the name that I use for everything was Jenifer, but on my Certificate of Citizenship and my US passport it was spelled Jennifer (with 2 n’s instead of one), would this be a problem? Would this affect my aid in any way?

As long as it’s readily apparent that you’re the same person, I wouldn’t worry about it.

Thanks @dodgersmom!!
