<p>I’m thinking of taking the minor in CE and completing the 198 capstone. What’s been your experience with CE so far? I’m working towards my senior thesis for my major and since the CE requires a thesis or a research project to graduate with college honors, do you think it’d be crazy to pursue both theses my senior year? Initially I had decided upon minoring in polisci, but that’s not where my heart’s passion is…the mission of CE parallels what I want to do after my schooling. Any thoughts about the matter, particularly about writing the 2 theses? Thank so much!</p>
<p>I had a class that was a crossover from poli sci to CE, and the instructor, Brian Walker, was very passionate about civic engagement. He really cares about his students and how the courses affect the students. The TA’s for the class expressed that professor walker is very concerned with student learning and drawing students toward becoming civically engaged, whether they are in the minor or not.</p>
