<p>I was wondering what jobs would be suitable for structural engineerings obtaining a PHd, outside being a professor.</p>
<p>For more advanced civil engineering jobs, you just need to be a licensed Professional Engineer by your state. </p>
<p>I don’t think you need a PhD, unless you are going to be a professor.</p>
<p>Or you just want to make everyone call you “Doctor” ;)</p>
