How do they work? I’m in Bauer, 4th floor. Is it set up so I’m connected to Kay’s 4th floor, and Court’s 4th floor? Or are each entirely separate?

Bauer is connected via the Sky Bridge to Kay, which runs into Court. So being in Bauer, you are only directly connected to Kay Hall, which is the middle portion of the building. Bauer is technically a separate building than Court and Kay, and as such has its own laundry room. Hope that helps.

thanks. the sky bridge sounds interesting haha.

I’m actually an alumn of 4th floor Bauer! It was great, I totally loved it and the SkyBridge is AMAZING! It’s particularly great for tanning/studying during the spring/summer. The only downside is that the RHD insists on it being locked during the winter months, or when it’s excessively windy…which was a pain for me and my friends on 4-Bauer, since most of our other friends lived on 4-Court (affectionately nicknamed “Balls Hall” because it’s the only all-guy floor on campus).

But trust me, you’ll love CKB…the building itself is a gem, and all the RAs I know are really great people…not to mention Francis & Phiroze, the phenomenal Faculty-in-Residence!

Does anyone know how AT&T is here? I’ve heard AT&T is pretty good around campus, but has some holes up on North campus.

Any insights?

AT&T should be fine for the most part. Verizon is widely regarded as the best service to have, and if you’re just selecting a plan now I’d definitely go with them, but minus a handful of spots around campus AT&T would be OK too.

Not sure how legit this is but I heard they’re adding an AT&T tower on campus…?

yes ATT is adding a tower on north campus so service should improve. verizon will still be the best though. verizon worked in basements too.
