I went to the Irish Fest in town last night with a couple of my housemates, and I knew the one thing I wanted to buy was a ring. I found an absolutely gorgeous claddagh ring that was reasonably priced so I decided to get it. I knew that there’s a way you’re supposed to wear them but I wasn’t sure what it was, so I looked it up. I guess since I’m single/available I’m supposed to wear it on my right ring finger with the point of the heart facing out…the thing is, I already have a ring that I wear on my right ring finger, and I can’t switch it because it would throw the whole balance off, and my fingers on my right hand are bigger than my fingers on my left. So my question is, does it really matter?

I’m in a relationship, and I wear mine on my right hand facing in. I should be wearing it on the left, but I have a ring from my girlfriend on my left hand. So long story short, the only thing that really matters is the direction it’s facing.

I’m wearing it facing the right direction, just on the wrong hand.

And by the way, you’re wearing it the right way. When you’re in a relationship it’s supposed to be on your right hand facing in.
