<p>And give us a hint, everyone, what you’ll be reading in the interim.</p>
<p>As y’all know, I’ll be reading The Housekeeper and the Professor for my library’s book club - or not. I slip into and out of that group as the mood strikes.</p>
<p>My other book club meets every six weeks and they pick two books: you can read either or both. The books chosen this time are The Bean Trees by Barbara Kingsolver and Orphan Train by Christina Baker Kline. I read The Bean Trees and really really liked it. I’m on a wait list at the library for Orphan Train and will read it when it gets here.</p>
<p>I’ve got the latest Flavia de Luce book - The Dead in Their Vaulted Arches to start today and plan to tackle Lonesome Dove again.</p>
<p>Sounds ambitious, right? But I don’t think I managed to get to the ones I mentioned last time except for The Maid’s Version which I really liked. It’s got a funky timeline and characters slipping in and out of the narrative much like Claire did. If you liked that, look into The Maid’s Version. If you didn’t, then know it’s even a little harder going.</p>
