Claremont Consortium: GPA inflation/deflation

Hey all - asking for some close friends and family who are interested in medicine (becoming physicians) and financial services/management consulting:

How do the Claremont Consortium schools perform with Allopathic Med School placement and front office financial services (IB, S&T, etc.) placements? Which ones of the 5 UG schools would be best for each? How is GPA inflation/deflation at these schools? How do Med School recommendations work (do students need a minimum GPA to get a favorable institutional recommendation)?

Thanks for clearing all this up, I have little familiarity with West Coast LACs.

I’m not super familiar, but I believe Mudd has grade deflation partly since it’s got a lot of engineering, and CMC might make sense for IB since it has a pre-professional/business tilt.
