If I am a Pomona College student, and I take a course at (Pitzer, Scripps, Claremont, Mudd)
Do I merely get the credit for that course on my Pomona transcript? Or is the grade for that course recorded on my Pomona transcript and figured into the Pomona GPA reported by the Pomona registrar on my Pomona transcript?

You get a letter grade that is recorded on your transcript. The ability to take as many off-campus classes as you can fit in your schedule would make credit/no credit ridiculous.

… and figured into the GPA reported by Pomona in your Pomona transcript?

Yes… all letter grades on your transcript are calculated into your overall gpa, classes from the 5Cs are considered equal. The only distinction between classes at different colleges I know of is that the course designation has a two-letter school identifier.
