clarification on UC Entry Level Writing Proficiency Requirement

<p>[UCLA</a> Orientation Program](<a href=“http://www.orientation.ucla.edu/exams3.htm]UCLA”>http://www.orientation.ucla.edu/exams3.htm) says that one of the things that satisfies this English requirement is </p>

<p>“A score of 680 or higher on the SAT II - Writing Exam (given May 1998 and thereafter)”</p>

<p>Do they mean the SAT II Literature Exam or do they mean only the SAT II Writing Exam, which was discontinued after 2005?</p>

<p>I think they meant SAT II Writing Exam which became SAT I. If you don’t satisfy, you take similar exam in your campus, which I believe is quite random in grade.</p>
