eh problems. so my teacher marked my evaluation envelope with the wrong program name so i sent the WRONG ONE… ugh. thank god i still have the Clark one here at home. they now have my evaluation for ssp though… anyways i hope this can be resolved quickly/easily and not impact any decisions made.

They’ll understand. The Clark Scholars admissions system lacks the bureaucracy that other programs have, so it’s much more personal and forgiving of minor errors.

So says Dr. San Francisco about the applicant pool this year.

It’s going to be tough.

^ How do you know this? You can has telepathic powers?!?!!

It’s pretty sad that whenever people refer to “China”, the word actually means two or three big cities only; people living in other smaller cities can hardly have the opportunities even though I believe there are brilliant people living there.

I can has email!!!1!1!

hahaha yay for clark

Do you think they will mind if it’s a day late (March 6)? US Postal Service LIEDDD…2 day delivery ended up being 3 days :P

Like I said, mine arrived 6 days late.

nervous…am I the only one?

Good luck to all the applicants. Tito, I doubt you’re the only one, considering there are probably 200+ other applicants this year.

yeah, I guess so…200+ thats a <6% admit rate… well good luck everyone!

Still a bit more likely than RSI then…
If my calculations are correct, and there’s a 3% chance for RSI, then (.94*.97=.9118), one has about a 9% chance of getting into either one.

Not exactly likely, but we’ll know soon enough. (and there’s a .18% chance of being accepted to both! but I guess you have to take into account that their likely to chose the same type of kid, so its probably a bit higher)

Good luck everyone!

Now, I wouldn’t start speculating already! If you have any questions about Clark Scholars life, I can probably answer. You know, like a typical day in the life of a Clark Scholar or something like that. Clark Scholars, unlike TASP, actually encourages you guys to get to know each other before the program.

when was acceptance announced last year?

^^ lol proletariat.

It seems so serious in their thread. You must NEVER speak or communicate with a fellow TASPer before the program. EVER. If you do you will ruin the program for everyone! :P

How many people applied this year?

proletariat2, heres a question nobody seemed to ask much but which I found very essential during my time at Clark: How liberal is the program schedule/surveillance?
