Did your son receive that message? I haven’t gotten any message.</p>
<p>He received a letter on Saturday.</p>
<p>They don’t send out “You made to the third cut” letter, but they will let you know once you are selected as the final 12 out of the last 30 people.</p>
<p>Does anyone know for sure when decisions will be made/finalists notified/rejected notified?</p>
<p>Someone mentioned April 28th as a possible date for the meeting for making the final cut, but really, NONE OF US KNOW. We’re not on the admissions committee!</p>
<p>Sorry if I’m over interpreting this, but based what I’m reading, it’s a good thing that I haven’t got any mail/correspondence from them in a month or so?</p>

<p>Wow, congratulations aznjunior! Have you been given a mentor assignment yet? Any information? You and archimedes might want to post your emails so others can see what to look out for.</p>
<p>Thanks, I’m so excited! I’m hoping to get a neuroscience project. They said they are currently looking for a mentor for me and after they find one, they will give me more paperwork to fill out. This just goes to show that if you get rejected one year, don’t get discouraged… just try again the next year or find other opportunities.</p>

<p>Congrats, man. For some reason I feel so small, not because I got rejected but people like you already got into Yale, and I’m competing against people like you guys…</p>

<p>Rejected… :(. I’ve got other plans to fall back on but this would have been so awesome had I been accepted.</p>

<p>Rejected…oh well, at this point I don’t really care, I got other plans anyways - never count on catching a bird with no rhythm. I just hope this isn’t indicative of future efforts.</p>
