D26 got her acceptance yesterday with a significant merit scholarship. It’s her first, so she’s very excited.

My D26 also got her Early Action acceptance last night! $45k merit award a year. Very nice scholarship! She is OOS, 4.0 UW and 4.15 weighted GPA, AP Scholar, Test optional.

Same here - scholarship and all! Oos, 34 ACT, research experience. Nice touch on that personalized letter of acceptance - tho I worry about their financial situation and the dismissal of faculty and staff… any insights about how that’s being conducted???

My daughter got her EA acceptance as well! And she was accepted to the Honors College. The merit scholarship was a complete surprise and is amazing because we didn’t think we could afford Clark and now we can! She has a 4.0 and 1400 SAT. She’s really excited about the 4 plus 1 master’s program at Clark!

Agree about the personalized letter. That was really nice!

I think that was a smart financial move to avoid serious financial problems. All colleges are hurting right now, lower enrollment, cuts in research funding, rising costs of benefits for employees. From what I read, it sounded pro-active.
