So, I was browsing classes on the solar system and quickly became aggravated. Is there a website I can go to look up a classes description and offerings? The ones listed on solar only had basic information like the title and location. For example, the math list goes like “calculus I”, “calculus II”, etc… How am I supposed to know what time the classes are offered, the actual description of the class, class size, and other specifics (like prerequisites needed)?

Also, does anyone know why stony brook doesn’t take one summer to revise its scheduling/solar management system? I mean, is it that difficult?

More specifically, can anyone tell me which is the math course for matrices and which is for differential equations?

Word is that SOLAR 3 is coming soon; we got a preview in our latest newsletter. If they’re already “advertising” it, I have to figure it’s coming soon, probably by the spring.

As far as the specifics, I’m not sure. Isn’t Linear Algebra matrices?

Preview looks promissing, who is responsible for designing it?

Don’t know. I’m assuming it’s someone from DoIT.
