Going for pre-med stuff, maybe music as a minor

Note: I moved from MD before my Junior year… as seen in the inconsistency of some of my ECs

Schools…

  • UNC @ Chapel Hill
  • Duke University
  • Davidson College
  • Muhlenberg College (for their medical program)
  • College of Holy Cross (for their medical program)
  • Vandy
  • Emory
  • NC State/UNC @ Charlotte
Maybe another liberal arts… maybe not

You have a good chance at Emory. I’m not sure about any of the other ones.
Good luck on retaking your SAT. =D

Thanks a lot, bro. Emory is a very beautiful school, but it’s quite expensive when compared to an in-state school like UNC.

Btw, how are the pre-med program at each of the schools? I know Duke, Emory, and Vanderbilt have extremely good ones, but I’m not sure whether the others have good ones, either. And do LACs send a lot of students to medical school?

you would be into Muhlenberg 100% as long as you show some interest in it

I know Emory has a very excellent pediatrics program, although I highly doubt that you are interested in that… haha.
If I do get accepted into Emory, I’m going to more than likely major in Biology, but Emory is a great school for any type of med programs in my opinion.

Yup, that’s why I’m considering it.

However, again, it’s really expensive and I don’t know if they give out a lot merit aid.

Anyone?

Come one, guys!

Help me out here, guys. Also, what are some other good pre-med schools that I can get into (and hopefully get some money for)?

Thanks in advance

Bump

Come on, guys

Johns Hopkins has the best pre-med in the nation. I live in NC too. Do you go to Providence High?

Nope, I’m actually in East Chapel Hill.

Hopkins is great, but I really don’t like the atmosphere (coming from Baltimore County, of course). And plus, I don’t think I have that great of a chance getting in and paying for it.
