Class of 2010 admits

Alas. Neither of my girls are into horses. My older, soon-to-be college daughter has been an avid soccer player since age eight and intends to play for Wooster or possibly Kenyon. (She announced this morning that Denison has slipped to third on her list. But that changes every day.) My younger daughter (16) is a theater girl–acting, stage-managing, technical, costume design, etc. As for me, I’m currently horse-less. When my old gelding died a number of years ago, I discovered that he was simply irreplaceable. My husband and I are still in the horse business, though–he’s editor of a weekly Thoroughbred publication and I’m a freelance writer. (Which explains why merit aid is so crucial to us!)
