Are you going?

Did you receive scholarship/financial aid award in your admission packet?

i don’t know yet if i’m going… about a 33% chance. still haven’t heard from my top two schools… how bout you?

It depends… it’s one of my backups, but I’d be pretty happy going there anyway… I’m waiting on some East Coast LACs… the waiting game is terrifying. Where else did you apply?

And I didn’t get the scholarship award info in my admission packet exactly… there was just a paragraph of the acceptance letter that told me I had qualified for a merit scholarship and info would be mailed from the Financial Aid Dept shortly. I really want to know how much I got though… could make or break it.

i got a packet in the mail today about financial aid. for national merit i got $15,000 for the first year… a pretty sweet deal i must say.
my top two schools are pomona and scripps… i really like the claremonts’ set up. but willamette is by no means out of the running!

yeah, willamette is not my first choice but i got a decent sized scholarship, and plus they met my full financial aid with VERY minimal loans (subsidized too!)
