KNOW that I will be rejected by Yale + Harvard</p>
<p>IF I get into UPenn and/or Brown (unlikely), I will have such a hard time deciding between JHU, Duke and those two (and maybe even Tufts…)</p>
<p>I still have to figure out in which order I’m going to check tonight. I think first Yale and Harvard, then Tufts, then Upenn and last but not least Brown.</p>

same here. after getting rejected from 4 bloody schools - standord, ucb, duke & mit i am just hoping i get into the ivies.but then speaking realistically i don’t have a cat in a hell’s chance of getting in
now, what r u guys going to do if you get rejected from all the ivies.
personally if i get rejected from the 4 ivies i applied to i amm planning of running away from home or asking my father to help me start a business. i have no idea of continuing my studies after working so much and then finally getting rejected from all school i applied to.
i just can’t settle off in any other college other than the ones that i have been dreaming of for the past so many months.</p>
<p>^ Let me tell you something. Even though the Ivies have the name and the prestige and most definitely the best of everything, there are other well reputed universities that might not be as popular in India, but are great nevertheless. Studying there, you would still be given due credit. And I applied only to one Ivy - Princeton, because I felt that was the only one where I thought I could really fit in among the Ivies. </p>
<p>It doesnt matter if I dont get in, I’d still go abroad, and take up one of the other good schools. Thats it. Completely abandoning education seems reckless. But you’re life!! Think before you do something drastic, and just for that, I hope you get into one of your top schools.</p>

I echo Shruthi’s point of view…besides how successful would be a business led by a high school passout…You need to have some certifs that are proof of the four (or more) years of hard work and fun.</p>

i got admitted to gatech but i felt good for the first few days but soon realized that 2 big dumbos were 2 follow me.the’re are really dumb and i can’t study with them for 4 years.
but yes i do agree that they’re better than indian unis but any college in us doesn’t do

<p>@123college456 I doubt you would find that anywhere. Event at the ivies there will be people who are not as smart as you are. You should definitely consider GATech. There will be a few thousand kids there and I think you will be able to find at least a few hundred who are as smart or smarter than you are. Just hang out with them if you wish.</p>

<p>I never said anything about any college! I told you that one of the good colleges in US is better than the colleges here. And if you are willing to sacrifice on education just because of people following you, I have no words to say.</p>
