LOL! :D

I remember that Cornell electronic notice…the exact same letter came in the mail afterwards! JHU too.
Tufts was just yuck. Horrible. The most unsympathetic, disgusting letter I’ve ever had the displeasure of reading :D

:)

I totally agree with you about the Tufts letter. ridiculous.

the one from Stanford was pretty kind but somehow a bit weird. one part was like “Rister, you’re a good student with solid support from your teachers”…this sounded like my recs were ok but the rest of the app sucked :s but apparently everybody got this one.

Rister, did you ask for the hard copy of the rejection letter?

Why? To frame it? Why would anyone want that

no i didn’t kumara. why?

Sup guys? :)

Oh happy new year to all Bengalis and Keralites here!

(Very late in the day)

Any idea how the JEE went for shruthi and ajay?

Anyone here? Lol. I think I have insomnia.

tetris, I recommend the Bluebook and no other for SAT 1. The PR book is the worst of the lot.
For SAT 2s, I recommend Barrons.

Yeah. For SAT I just solve all the practice tests and read Up Your Score :D

I thought PR was pretty good, the strategies work great. Use the blue book for practice.
Definitely Barrons for the subject tests.

Oh PR sucked for the ACT, so I don’t think I’ll use that. I was going through Barrons 2400 yesterday. I liked it. :)

I’m off CC for good. Take Care people!

PR sucked. Especially the strategies. When I used them, my scores dropped by 50-100 points.
Hey, u can also use 10 Real SATs for practice for CR and Maths sections.
[SparkNotes: Today’s Most Popular Study Guides](http://www.sparknotes.com) is pretty good as well.

Kaplan also has some pretty good strategies–it is a good book overall…

Oh lol PR increased my score by 470 points!

My advice: Look thru all the sources and combine all the strategies to one that work well for you!

If you get the Blue Books I also recommend to subscribe to Collegeboard’s Online Study Guide. It’s pretty expensive but the tests are useless without explanations.

You can get the online study course for free :D
