not gonna publish my salary here but it’s decent to good for swiss standards and amazing to insanel for american standards.</p>
<p>poly, i knew my res hall already by the time i got accepted to penn (all huntsman freshmen live in King’s Court 3rd floor) so the only surprise was my room number 
King’s Court isn’t the top choice for most freshmen but it has the most spacious rooms and its own cafeteria which is supposed to be the best on campus…so i can’t complain</p>

<p>@Rister: No, alcohol isn’t bad. I’ll probably end up drinking socially (but PLEASE, no binge drinking/drinking for the sake of getting drunk for me!). However, I really don’t want to be in an environment where alcohol is forced upon me at times when I don’t want to drink!</p>

<p>but i agree that binge drinking and pressure to drink sux. but you probably won’t find this (at least the pressure…)at any top-tier school anyway so don’t worry about that</p>
<p>I am not getting a mac because :</p>

<li>Its not powerful enough. (The Pro costs a bomb)</li>
<li>It doesnt fit my programming needs.</li>
<li>I can’t game as much as I would like to</li>
<li>I can install OSX on my other normal laptop if I want to. But I can’t do the other way around easily.</li>
