I’m a staunch Chelsea supporter.

Lol tetris we differ when it comes to a very BIG topic haha.

What? I don’t get the reference
. I attribute it to the fact that I have a headache at the moment.

Hey btw, where are shruthi and Narsil and shreya and angel?

Who, me? Brown, I meant. I don’t like the school one bit .

Haha :).

I like Michigan though :D.

Good :p

Lol this would have become a battlefield otherwise

good. now I can join in without being asked if I am a girl. :)

Lol sammyone :D

Haha don’t hesitate!

I hate C. Ronaldo too. He’s overrated, like Kurnikova. He should have become a model not a soccer star.

tetris:
about strong IR/IS schools…

Tufts (also good in Biology…cough)

JHU (also GREAT in Biology…cough)

Georgetown
The problem with Georgetown is that it has multiple undergraduate schools. So if you apply and get in (which is a major crapshot for internationals even if they don’t need aid, since Gtown is need-blind) and end up not liking IR, you’d have to transfer.
However, they have a major called Science, Technology and International Affairs (or something like that…), so you could COMBINE your interest in Biology and IA. I heard that STIA is the least popular major in the SFS so if you state that you intend to major in STIA (and show that you really do have an interest in science AND IA), you might have a little hook.
I think Gtown SFS IS the best school for IA/IS/IR majors (undergrad, that is.) Haha, I used to have a crush on Gtown so I know quite a lot about it.

Brown (Nikita Krushchev’s son is a faculty member!!! HAHA when I read this it made me love Brown even more
They have this Institute which is probably one of the best think tanks for International Politics…Watson or something like that. Plus, it’s one of the biggest majors at Brown, so it MUST be pretty amazing)

Middlebury (it’s a bit like Tufts in the sense that “internationalism” is very prevalent. Plus, they rock at foreign languages which is very important for IS/IR majors)

CMC (as i said, IR is kinda PoliSci and I think we all know that CMC is hard to beat in that. If I recall correctly, they also have a semster-in-washington program which is pretty sweet)

Wellesley (pretty strong in PoliSci/IR…Madeleine Albright)

Columbia (probably not interesting to you because of the core but their graduate school for IR is probably 2nd in the US…behind JHU! i don’t know how much this affects the undergraduate experience though. also: NYC = UNO! <3)

Penn (Not saying this because I’m going there…IR is one of Penn’s strenghts. And Penn’s not too far away from NYC either)

Princeton (I guess they’re pretty strong in IA but you have to apply after freshman year or something if you want to major in it. because it’s in a special school as well, woody wilson!)

I’ve heard good things about social science at Swarthmore as well but I don’t know enough about it.

don’t even look at GWU or American. They suck at everything.

Rister, I beg to differ. Over-rated? When was the last tym a midfielder scored 42 goals in one season?Has it ever happened before? Tell me. And it wasn’t jux tap-ins( Van nistlerooy’s favorite) or chips over the goalkeeper. Free kicks(like that against Portsmouth), great headers and more.
Unless u r a chelsea fan or somthin, u won’t say he is over-rated. Even the lyks of Lampard who wait till they get an ailing Derby side in order to score 4 goals r not said to be over-rated. C’mon. Didn’t u watch the Chams league final? he will be voted the world’s best player this year.
Euro 2008 is jux 2 days away- he will silence you again.

^ I don’t like CHristiano because I am a Liverpool supporter… but I actually think that he’s going to win the Euros for portugal and leave Man Yoo to Real (I definitely hope so!)… haha

sammyone, he might have the stats and his skills are impressive. but no player is worth more than 200 million euros! especially not such a narcisstic one…i’m glad that i don’t have to play in one team with him.
i think portugal will be 2nd in group a and get kicked out by germany in the 1/4 final.

i’m not a chelsea fan! FC Zurich 'till the end!!! :p

Enemies of Progress. YOU, u r one of them. :pU don’t want him to prosper- saw what happened to Becks, right. He shd stay, or his may be worse. Even if he leaves, someone else will arise- maybe Nani. But for now, c. Ro.

I am definitely jealous that C Ro is at ManYoo… but Torres ain’t that bad too… 24 goals in the premiership without taking a single penalty…

Rister, he is the hottest commodity in town- that explains the price. As for being narcissist, well, maybe. Narcissist players won’t give Rooney and tevez so many passes, crosses n thru passes though. Whatever it is, he works hard for the team(both Utd n Portugal) n together with his team-mates, they’ll shake the Euros.

YOU, so 32 goals in premiership minus 6 pens gives 26 goals, still higher than the out n out striker’s tally. Unless u’ll want to subtract the number of free kicks too. ;)

^that shows Torres is just as good as C Ron… Even tho he’s not a striker, he spends 80% of his time in the pen box… and he gets the better services from Evra, Scholes, Nani, Tevez… ie Man Yoo creates lots of chances… while I have to admit… Torres either has to create the chance himself or get the help from Gerrard… I may be biased tho

A narcissist by personality, a cheater on the field. Do you really expect me to like such a player?
