<p>Applications went down to 11,170. Acceptances were at 3,656 (33%) and Matriculants were 1201 (33%). Admissions believed the number of applications were down due to the recession combined with a $50,000 tuition bill.</p>
<p>It will be interesting to see what applications do this year as the recession has lingered on. Lehigh is still not easy to get into (and once they are here, it’s still hard to stay but everyone is very smart).</p>
