ha ha… hmm… now even i’m tempted not to send them the CSS!!! ha ha… lemme see… i still have a whole month left for the CSS

kenyon as well…i mailed them time and again…anyone here who got around it?

Dartmouth asked me for my financial info. in order to evaluate eligibility for alternative form request. Lets see the outcome.

@sarbaraj: Dartmouth does waive the CSS for those who can’t afford it. They ask you around 5 questions regarding your financial situation(it’s on their site). I got my CSS requirement waived from them. So, I’m sure they’ll waive yours as well.

@all
does anyone have any idea about how we’re supposed to submit our online application if a college requires payment to be payed first? We dont qualify for the NACAC waiver. The collegeboard one wont work as well.

Can we check the ‘other’ box and mail a fee waiver request from our high school? Anyone dealt with this kind of problem before?

@ccprofile… hope so I mailed the answers…

^^That’s what I’ve done for all the colleges so far i.e. checked the “other” box and then mailed a fee waiver.
@sarbaraj: In that case, expect an e-mail from them with an ISFAA attached to it. ;)

haha…

I have already sent a copy of ISFAA to them :p

BTW… could anyone suggest a rolling safety with no TOEFL requirement ;)

does anyone know if the school reports (the transcripts,secondary, midyear,final report n stuff) can be sent by our high school after the deadline? i’ve been waiting ages for the colleges to reply!!!

^^

most colleges are understanding with this matter.

^Certainly not recommended, though! While there is general consensus that the colleges are more lenient when it comes to receiving School forms, applicants are highly encouraged to send these forms within their respective deadlines. And if you’re sending them by Regular registered mail then it’s highly recommended to AT LEAST postmark the package by the deadline.

^ woohoo! seems like im not the only one staying up this late! hehe!

my problem is that the final report couldnt be submitted by our counselor due to god-knows-what kind of technical problems in her online common app account…so its just the final report…

O LORD WHY DID I LET MY RECOS BE DONE ONLINE???..DAMN!!!

@sikthsick:If it’s the final report then don’t worry, as long as your GC included those transcripts in the Secondary School Report. There is an issue submitting the Final report online as, if I’m not mistaken, you can submit the Final Report only once and you HAVE to choose which colleges to send the FR to while submitting and after that you may not make any changes.

Also, the colleges won’t usually ask for your FR until after you’ve been admitted. So, just make sure your final transcript gets to the university somehow.

If the transcript is left, just email them the scanned copy. No need to worry. I along with my friends have faced such things in our time…i too used to get worried about such things…hah…those days…

hello everybody

HI Funny Punjabi :)

Do these colleges waive the CSS Profile:

Cornell University
Harvey Mudd College
Brandeis University
Reed College

And Plz post a link to Customized Pre-Application Worksheet of the Collegeboard CSS Profile in PDF format

I dunno about cornell and mudd but for brandeis you can send ISFAA to brandeis and reed… and if any news comes from mudd… do post it here…

@400: are you talking about this??? [College Admissions - CSS/PROFILE Pre-Application Worksheet - MyCollegeCalendar.org](http://mycollegecalendar.org/explore/seniors/profile-css-application-worksheet.aspx)… u won’t get the pdf version… unless you have a .pdf converter in your browser… OR… you can print the from… scan it and then convert it!! :p… OR… you can just fill the form online and then print it…

yikes!! typo again!!! lol… sorry!!!
