This Kenyon…always waitlisting Nepaliz…but never accepting…

@frznfire
I got the info. And, your GPA AND SATs are excellent. Thus, i do not recommend that particular college for u. U will get a good college…just wait and relax.

kenyon…very stingy with aid. Not that it doesnt meet your need…takes in very few people who have large need…again, i dont mean they dont take any…just that they’re more conscious about whom they re funding.

for all those who got waitlisted in kenyon college…—
this may sound a little demoralizing, but, im in touch with one of my seniors who graduated frm kenyon, he was the first international student president in 185 long histry of kenyon and had worked in admissions as well(an amazing person)… this is what he had to say, in his own words, when i inquired abt the waitlist thing…-- “chances of getting off the waitlist at kenyon and getting funding are next to nothing”…
i hadnt applied to kenyon, (which i lament a lot),so take this thing just as info.
P.S. He is currently in Oxford University, UK.

thanks hemin for the info… im sure those who have been waitlisted still have decisions, from equal or even better college than kenyon, still to come…

anyone knows abt washington uni at st louis’s waitlist thing…

Hemin, u must be referring to Mr. Shroches Shrestha…(or, i forgot the exact name)

And, about Kenyon, many of my friends got waitlisted last year, but nobody got accepted. Similar case in Class of 2012. Don’t know anything about Kenyon, but the trend shows that its really difficult to get in. Let’s see this year’s waitlisted candidates’ decision.

2014–u were near but his name is Shrochis Karki…
I suppose he was just trying to give you guys perspective, and is willing to help people applying to Kenyon if they want to contact him…

Guys…found these dates somewhere in earlier CC posts…they seem to be accurate enuf…mite help!!
