<p>@madonna… i dont know much abt transfer process and its difficulty… but with how much ever i have heard,
transferring is difficult…
to good college will be more difficult,
as an international student will be more more difficult,
and if u need aid as well, it will be most difficult…</p>
<p>i hope u get how difficult it is… not to discourage u or something but if u need good college with aid, it will be really difficult…</p>
<p>however there are cases where intl students have transfered into a good college with good aid…

yeah i too was thinking of transferring after going to US but u know reading alot and exploring many sites finally concluded that transferring is not so easy but dont be discouraged ok coz there are always a few exceptions…best of luck</p>

transferring is pretty difficult. i’ve heard some stories but they are really rare and definitely not with better aid. once you come to the us you cannot apply as a freshman again. so that is not an option either. i know this probably makes you upset but thats one of those bitter truths.</p>

I know some of the good schools that MAY provide aid (not completely full) and are not too tough to get in…I suggest u to email each college (select randomly) and ask the policies…some provide aid after u complete 48 Credits…Check out U TEXAS AUSTIN, BYU(I respect it a lot) and U Connecticut. If you are planning to apply for transfer from a college (any college) that has provided u with excellent, SIMPLY DON’T PLAN TO TRANSFER. And, if u r planning from Nepal, u go for transfer only if ur family can afford, as in Masters level, u can get a lot of aid…</p>

<p>noooooo i wanna go to hampshire college (very badly!!!)… my application got lost there k… they told me that aile … said there’s no other way they can help me if i want any aid at all… my only option is applying to hampshire next year re. i’m studying in 12 aile i dont wanna take a gap year (i think its a waste of time) so i’m thinking of going to one of the colleges i got acceptances from this year and transferring to hampshire next year. im still not sure whether i should wait a year and apply to hampshire next year or transfer to hampshire from a college in the US… any suggestions??</p>

last year i applied to BYU .Fall intake -2 ;Spring intake-2;Summer intake-0; Winter intake-about 8 to 10.
I didn’t get in there though i had pretty good GPA.
This year my frens applied with SAT 2130 and 83% -rejected.Also heard that a guy from BNKS who was accepted by Lafayette for ED -got rejected from BYU .
And i noticed that BYU has not been accepting any nepali students this year-?may be its going to be competitive now and transfer facility has been kicked off.</p>
<p>I tried to Cornell College,Iowa last year but had to pay more .So,guys find some good schools-hidden treasures</p>

can you tell me the major you are going for? there are plenty good schools in which you can go with less than 15K if you have good stats. PM me your stats and maybe I can help you…all the best…
