Kicked out from Lafayette and Gettysburg!!!

The Admissions Committee has carefully reviewed your application for admission to Lafayette College for the fall semester of 2010. You are a strong candidate and were given serious consideration within the highly selective pool of international applicants for admission and financial aid. We recognize your solid academic preparation and achievement and your potential to do successful course work at the post-secondary level.

Regrettably, we are unable to offer you a place in our class of 2014 since we cannot offer you any financial assistance. While we realize this is not what you had hoped to learn, we truly appreciate your interest in Lafayette and wish you much success in your future educational endeavors.

chyaa they wrote the same letter to everyone that got rejected – unable to provide financial assistance!

Girija Prasad Koirala is dead!

@madonna: WAT!!! u serious??

congrats to those who got accepted.

if you wanna pay 15k you can get into very good school. there are schools like bucknell that award fulltuitons. and think twice before choosing BYU. they are not just Christians, they are Mormons. and that makes a huge difference. you just feel like an outcast there. you still have to take classes in religion with devout Mormons. trust me, while we are in Nepal we never realize what it feels like to be a minority.

RIP Girija Prasad Koirala.

Heartfelt condolence to Girija Prasad Koirala!!! For me he was synonymous to Nepalese politics. An end of a historical legend!!!

ho re! tyo budo ta maryo re…

j vae ni he was a great leader!

does anyone know the rate of acceptance from the waitlisted candidates in Gettysburg?
