@getherefast…come to class of 2015…seniors are busy…they wont answer anything…these people have been away for more than a week now…thats why I chose the travel warning thing to check whether they are alive or not! seniors…dont mind me hai!

^^@confidential2015-thats like pouring a bucket of hot water on the head and saying sorry… You ought to respect seniors bro…we all should believe in mutual respect. at times we are not available due to various reasons but " I chose the travel warning thing to check whether they are alive or not" wont help you gain enough confidence such that we are there to help you at the times of crisis…
@getherefast–regarding SAT II, it depends upon how much knowledge you possess. Exam preparation (types of question, how to tackle them; time management) doesn’t take much time… u can start by taking a diagnostic test and then u can know the depth of your knowledge… i have seen ppl studying SAT II for the months and ending up with poor marks. while there were ppl who took few practice tests to gain perfect score… So, very much depends on u, my suggestion would be, once again, to take a diagnostic test at first and we can talk abt this again…

varies between colleges. some require you to sign affidavits, some require deposits and some will send it with your admission packet.

@everyone–can you throw some light abt wire transfer (enrollment deposit)?? i went to himalayan bank today but ppl there told me that i need to have a NOC from ministry and other documents from college. Im a lilo confused… Anyone?|?

you can go to Nabil Bank with the letter showin the exact amount you need to pay for (deposit probably). if you need to pay, say $500, you need to show them a letter from the college (or a form or anything) that has mentioned specifically that you need to pay $500. after that, all you need is to fill out a form and your ID card.

Remember, you MUST give them a copy of documents asking you to pay the required amount.

actually you could have done it from Himalayan Bank itself if it was two weeks ago…but now the rules have changed.You must have heard abt a news regarding the restriction over exchange of dollars for Nepalese citizen. If not then please be informed that you wont be allowed to exchange more than $2000 a year for your foreign visits/studies anything else. This rule was launched just two weeks ago. That means any dollar issuing agency would ask for the same documents! I am not sure abt Nabil Bank but I think they too will ask for that document! If not it will be really easy to do transaction thru Nabil but if they do require something like that then you will have a lot of problem…going to the ministry,standing in the queue…blah blah…and be reminded that when you leave for US…you can only get $1500 (max) in your hands if you pay $500 at this instance!
