The one where you apply early should be your first choice college. So how can others interfere with your First priority?

SAT definitely. TOEFL is easy and you dont need to worry about it. Prepare for the SAT.

@rulesss
no one is gonna laugh on that logical question!
If you prepare well for SAT, TOEFL isn’t a big problem. and yeah, CC is informative…

hey! all …i m new to this thread…so jus started…wanted to know what is basically ACT?
and is it compulsory as SAT, TOEFL while applying to the colleges?

^^^
no tests are not mandatory, while toefl is…
Tests are meant to increase your chances and get you more scholarship…

@ACT: ACT is pretty much similar to SAT with different format and added sections like science…have no negative marking and comparitively tough for the first time takers.

^

TOEFL is not mandatory in any sense at all!

There are tons of colleges that waive your TOEFL if you write them a letter / have CR > some score…

@ anyone who knows abt this…
guys, if you are rejected a visa on the ground of no intent to return after the completion of study, does this means you have no chances re-applying ?
or do they take different approach each time the candidates appear??
Help me with this.

i guess you may, though you might need to show stronger social and economic ties…relationship certificates, real estates…

sorry bro, no idea more than that…

^^^ nah nah!!
I tried to explain but couldn’t come up that clear. I didn’t meant that i have a intent but things went other way. I should say sth that they would believe ,a strong point?
what happened was?
consular asked me what will you do after 4 years? I said I would probably gain some experience and expertise with a job ( by job i meant internships or OPT) and then will come back to nepal. But things went other way.
Now i need to clarify on that. Any ideas?

Should this thread be closed officially???
