**A little about me: I want to major in business, I am fluent in both Spanish and English and take French, I will be taking Italian and Mandarin next year and senior year). Im an upcoming junior. I also want to work on web design in addition and a little bit of psych to be the top in my trade ie. what I want to do… Real Estate.

-NYU (PLEASE JESUS)
-University of Penn. (a little far-fetched but if I got in I might be willing to leave NY)
-Columbia (My friends mother went there and told me it was great! Showed me some pics, I toured the place with her… ugh its so perfect. )
-Cornell Uni. (It would be so nice)
-Barnard College (I want to major in business)
-Colgate Uni. (its a choice, not really top along with Vassar, but I mean theyre in NY and trasfers exist… also I wouldnt hate it, theyre good schools!)
-Vassar College
-MIT (a girl can dream… sigh)

Slushy9 your picks are pretty up there, you better be acing those classes.

@cassat
Damn thats all over the place, you dont care about staying on your state? Id hate to leave my family and everything…

Definitely
Upenn (ED)
UNC Chapel Hill (EA)
UNC wilmington (more of a safety)
Wake Forest
Appalachian state (safety)

Maybe
U of Chicago
Georgetown
Boston University
Duke

Possibly:
Pepperdine
UNC charlotte
ECU
Michigan

Fun thing to note: My college list wasn’t final until a few days before the deadline in December.

So… I am really trying to narrow my list down and get a good mix of reach, match, and safety schools! But idk, this is what I have so far… sorry about all the question marks, I’m just really unsure haha

Yale (probably going to apply I guess? super reach)
Brown (and maybe the Brown/RISD dual degree program, also a super reach)
Dartmouth?
Amherst
Middlebury
UVM
Bowdoin?
Wesleyan?
Boston College?
Skidmore?
Tufts??
Columbia??
Barnard??
Vassar??

@picklechicken37
those aren’t final tho
im thinking georgia tech and u of illinois cause of the massive library lol
and they arent all reach for me. for ex: ucla and umich are match

Duke
Carnegie Mellon
Cornell
Boston College
UVA
Brown?

Top choices:
Caltech
Stanford
MIT

Middle Tier (still reach-heavy):
Rice
Cornell
Harvey Mudd
Rensellaer Polytechnic
Carnegie Mellon
Olin College
Case Western

Safeties:
University of Colorado - Boulder
Colorado School of Mines
University of Arizona

I’m not sure about this list (whether I want to be cutting it down or beefing it up, even…). I’m very confident of my safeties, and I really hope I get one of my top 3 (Caltech, Stanford (lol), or MIT), as those would probably give enough need-based aid to be affordable. It’s the reach-ish middle tier that I think I could be gapped at, and would just end up attending a safety on a full ride. Hmm…

Seeing all these lists with more than five schools makes me so happy I only applied to one school last year!

I’ll be applying to;
Brown
Stanford
Tufts
Colgate
Claflin
Cornell
Amherst
Fisk
Wake Forest
I haven’t narrowed my list down yet but these are my likely options

slushy9 if that is really your list then you must be scoring nothing but A’s and must have EC’s and ivy league students would dream of having’ Cos your list is suicidal

Not in order but likely and maybe schools are University Southern Cal, Univ Central Florida, Temple, Yale, Pepperdine, Azusa Pacific, Northeastern, Pitt, St. John’s, Pace, Kentucky, South Carolina, Tulane, and Vanderbilt. There are some other maybe’s too.

ED Penn (Huntsman) is the only decision I’ve made thus far.

The rest of my “list” consists of only Columbia for sure lolol. The maybes include Tufts, Boston College, George Washington. I need to look into some smaller LACs still to finish off the “list.” TCNJ, and possibly FDU, as safety.

I’m looking for schools with good economics and government (or international relations) programs that are potentially within reach. I was interested in UChicago, but I’m trying to be sorta realistic and not waste money by applying solely to reaches.

Miami (OH)
University of Alabama-Tuscaloosa
North Carolina-Chapel Hill
University of Wisconsin
College of William and Mary
Dartmouth

Princeton SCEA
Harvard (I could switch my SCEA app to here if I like it better when I visit in July)
Dartmouth
Notre Dame
Ohio State
Miami (Ohio)
Vanderbilt
Michigan

Still thinking about USC (SoCal) and Stanford.
