You’re in India and you think it’s cold? GIRL. Better stock up on the thermals when you go to Amherst.

For those that aren’t used to snow, the first winter in the northeast is an eye-opener.

I don’t wanna die gary. Take that.

snow… yes, i’ve heard about, seen it on tv, and i know what it is…
but not in real life. lol. i will experience REAL snow one day.
eurgh. winters in australia are bad enough…
did you know, its late spring over here, and it was FORTYONE degrees celsius the other day? and the day after it dropped to 21 degrees. i mean, errrr…?

Hey guys. I’m wondering, if I don’t take a science subject test, would that hurt me if I’m applying as a Computer Science major? I signed up to take ML1/2 and Chem next week but I haven’t done much studying and I think if I try cramming for both I won’t do well on either of them, while if I spend my next 10 days focusing on ML1/2 I will do well on those exams, at least. It’s stressing me out and I don’t want to spend hours cramming and failing to crack 700+ for both. I wouldn’t mind take ML1/2 now and then Chem in Jan, but Jan is too late, isn’t it?

most schools actually accept january scores. Check with the adcoms. Sometimes they cannot guarantee that they will receive the scores before they made a decision, but if they say its okay I think its worth a shot cause you’ll have more time to prepare for the tests.

I didn’t die. Hah! Screw you.

Yeah ninja, I have a thing about cold. That’s why I just randomly apply to schools in Florida or California for no reason other than that they’re in Florida or California. But, you know, in places where it’s SUPPOSED to be cold you have heaters and stuff so you don’t really face whatever degree of cold it actually is whereas here we don’t have heaters and stuff so we face the cold without any kind of buffer whatsoever and people tend to laugh at you if you pad up too much which is annoying because I’M COLD!!!

Ahem. Sorry.

January SAT is fine for most schools, Malik! ninja and I are giving subject tests in Jan.

I’m taking Math 2 in January, I’m supernervous about it, especially since I haven’t had calculus in my school so I’m only depending on the Barron’s books I ordered my aunt to send me all the way from Jersey (since I’m nowhere on Amazon’s or Barnes&Nobles’s map of course <_<).

Practice tests work great for alleviating the nervousness. Really. :D

which is why I also ordered a book of 15 practice tests too ^^

Yay! You’ll be fine then. Good luck with the studying!

thanks! I’m gonna need it! Especially since I think I blew it on the math 1 last month. the things I’m doing for Upenn shakes head

s438etnodfigndsf OHMYGAWDRESULTSARETODAY! I TOTALLY FORGOT! AHHH! I’m scared to open the CB page D:

I’ve been stalking the CB page for the last hour and a half. blushes

lol idk if you should be blushing or me, I actually FORGOT that today is D Day, after stressing about for, hmmm, how long was it since I left the test center? XDDD I think its some sort of subconscious mechanism at work protecting my brain from meltdown or something haha.
hops on CB stalking bandwagon

I forgot too, but I dreamed last night that I got a 459 (which you can’t even GET) and freaked and then realized today’s the day. :D

Haha, wow, now that’s a nightmare.
Well, if they are posting them the same time as last time, scores should be online in the next 4 hrs. I really hope I don’t get suicidal after I see them :S I think I did okay on the german, but math … superscared.
Which test(s) were you taking Quasi?

Lit, actually.
Apparently in 22 minutes…:S
LET THE VIRTUAL HANDHOLDING BEGIN!!!

(Hey, if you never hear from me after today, you’ll know why I died.)

lit??? you took lit?? Seriously?? I was considering doing that one as my third…and then I saw the practice test in the blue book. And that was the end of it.

ditto on the dying. Although you’ll probably read about it in the newspaper “student had a seizure after seeing her miserable scores and realizing that she might as well reject herself from Upenn” because this is a LIFE OR DEATH matter pls!!!

“LIFE OR DEATH matter pls!!!” YES IT IS!!! :D

I did okay on the practice tests but was SERIOUSLY distracted on test day for, um, personal reasons. I’m not expecting a good score but if I get a 450 like in my dream…gets the razor blades ready

same. My practice tests were pretty good but I think I actually panicked on the math test, which, I didn’t know it was possible for me before.
Panic, test, whaaa? How do you do that? Now I know.
pours few more drops of poison in juice and patiently waits
