Class of 2014!

Quasi - I order you to give me your safeties now! Although I’m too lazy, I’m going back and forward between I should have more match and safeties and meh, I’m too lazy to apply to any more freaking schools. Oh, and are you kidding me Quasi, I took like a month to write an rewrite my Common App. Very important.

nelesy - Franklin and Marshall?

grinnell seems nice but why the heck does its essays su*k?

Haha that is ironic all right. Why not write about the search for the muse? Make her like this vivid character and the things she puts you through to catch her  You can title it “Catch me if you can”

Oh don’t worry, GBFF, I’ve got the first draft done and most of it planned. It just kind of sucks. But it shall be bettered!

Why are you so in love with F&M?

Haha nelesy that’s a great idea. But nah, my essay’s a bit different. It’s about writer’s block leading me to question why I do the things that I do. It’s kind of on the quirky side I guess, so I have to tone it down an itty bitty bit.

I think quirky is good. Quirky is usually unique  As for the muse, that was just one of my random idea generator moments, and now I’m thinking of actually using that idea for one of the 10 essays I have left to write haha

Hahaha DO IT it’s a great idea! I would totally use it if I was the one who had it.

Q - HAHA I love that I totally knew what GBFF meant.

I am not in love with F&M. Not applying there. Stupid safeties, why don’t have for internationals needing aid? I suppose it makes sense, but still.

Quasi, don’t make me apply to Colby and try and steal a place from you.

Oh, psh. Go ahead, apply to Colby, we can go there together. :p

Apply to Felician if you want. :stuck_out_tongue: Lots and lots of aid and it’s like ten minutes away from NYC.

I was gonna apply to Colby, but then changed my mind. Same for Kenyon.

Writer’s block? COOOOOOOOOOL! :D

mine is on cooking or how much I suck at it (seriously, have you ever burned a soup?) and made a mix with business, turned out good I think  I’m just glad I wrote it in the summer if I was writing it now it would have sucked big time, kinda like my current draft of my Cornell essay.

All your essays sound really cool, guys :)

Writer’s block is not COOOOOOOOOOOOOOL. tetris, your positivity is beginning to scare me, understandable as it is. :p

That sounds like a pretty fun essay, nelesy.

I actually had a lot of fun with it and I know that my mom still laughs whenever she remembers certain parts of it so I’m pretty confident about it  There’s a lot of brain storm potion brewing, and cooking up ideas, and demonic contraptions (read: stove), and epic catastrophes :P

I like the sound of the cooking essay. My common app essay is a kind of stream-of-consciousness thing about time. :-/

I love Grinnell but whoever said their essays sux is right. Man, those essays were a pain. But I only have two apps left now so it’s all good.

Quasi, I’m highly amused that you won’t share your safeties  Tell me more about Felician, though! I have never heard of it.

@Quasi: NOOOOOOOOOO I mean that writer’s block as a topic was cool!

Yeah, pardon my extended high :p

Pardoned a long time ago. :p

Haha ninja all I know about Felician is that it’s tiny, not selective, very generous with aid to internationals who have a 1200 (CR+M) plus score, and close to NYC.

Dude, where do you find these places!?

I search? Lol.
